What's Changed?
What has changed since freshmen year? A lot. Not only physically. but the way I think, process, and act have all matured through my four years of high school. During my freshmen year, I was coming straight from middle school, very immature and naïve. I didn't know what I wanted, how to stand up for myself, or how to deal with people that had bad intentions. Throughout high school, I have been able to figure out what is the best for myself and how to stand up against negative forces. My personality has also matured throughout high school, as I was quite immature in my thinking and in the way I responded to things during freshmen year.
My biggest change from freshmen to senior year are probably the physical changes. From entering high school being 5' 0" and leaving as a solid 5' 6", many growth spurts have allowed me to grow a bit. My style has also changed dramatically, from embarrassing middle school neon shirts and colorful pants to a more mature and sophisticated daily look that I can comfortably call my style. My hair style has also changed a bit, becoming a bit older and less messy throughout the years.
Finally, the way I act has changed quite a lot since freshmen year. Then, I acted quite impulsively and without thinking of how it may affect others or the consequences it could bring. Now, I like to think that I have become calmer and less impulsive in my actions, thinking more carefully before making moves. A phrase I like to live by is everyone is watching, as all of our moves are constantly being watched and judged, whether we know it or not.
